King Of The Hill - Series 2
Background Information: King Of The Hill King of the Hill, is the 23rd episode of The Simpsons ninth season. The episode first aired on May 3, 1998. // The family goes to the church picnic, but when Homer plays Capture the Flag, he fails to make it. Feeling terrible about being unfit, he decides to exercise, running & doing his exercises in a gym late at night. He has trouble at first in the gym, but thanks to a visit from Rainier Wolfcastle, Homer becomes a strong man. This prompts two men—Brad & Neil—from a health bar company, Powersauce, to enlist Homer to do a publicity stunt for Powersauce by climbing Springfield s tallest mountain, the Murderhorn, because, according to Bart, Homer eats $50 worth of Powersauce bars a day. Although Grampa suggests that Homer not do the stunt, he manages to do it anyway, with two sherpas chosen to be Homers guides. When Homer climbs the mountain, he has trouble climbing & can only reach the mountains halfway point. He sleeps in his sleeping bag & is surprised to find out that the sherpas have dragged him in his sleeping bag up the mountain while Homer sleeps. Howdy' At long last we get a reg 2 release of KOTH, well season 1 & 2 thus far. This series is brilliant, I would compare it to Simpsons,Family Guy,Futurama & South park Of all the mentioned above KOTH is the most realistic, the stories both funny & touching. The extras on this set & indeed set 1 are briliant, it's good to see Fox putting thought into what to add to the already great program. This is a five star set, the ONLY thing that might take a bit of getting use to is the animation, in itself it's fine but does look somewhat washed out & the eyes/pupils don't always look correct! Enjoy & lets hope season 3 gets released soon. Duffman. Kathy Ann Najimy is an American actress, best known as Olive Massery on the television series Veronicas Closet & the voice of Peggy Hill on the animated television series King of the Hill. Najimy was born in San Diego, California & is of Lebanese descent. Her film career began in the early 1990s with a number of off-beat minor roles, but her first major role was in the 1992 comedy Sister Act, in the role of Sister Mary Patrick. She reprised this role in the 1993 in Sister Act 2. From film, Najimy expanded into television roles, including a recurring role on Chicago Hope. Najimy was part of the cast of Veronicas Closet from 1997 to 2000. She also co-wrote & starred in the theatrical production The Kathy & Mo Show. Beginning in 1997, she provided the voice of Peggy Hill on the animated series King of the Hill. Najimy married Dan Finnerty in August 1995 ; her first daughter was born in 1996. Najimy is also noted as a activist for gay rights, as well as a feminist & human rights activist & is openly bisexual.
