Biography: Corey Feldman

Corey Feldman was a popular child actor in the 1980s. His parents were Shiela & Bob Feldman, the songwriter/record producer who wrote & produced My Boyfriends Back for The Angels, produced Hang On Sloopy for The McCoys & was a member of The Strangeloves who had a #11 pop hit with I Want Candy. Known for playing obnoxious, rebellious young men, Feldman starred in many teen -oriented films of the era including The Goonies. He was often paired with another popular child actor of the era, Corey Haim, eventually leading to them to be dubbed The two Coreys. In 1989 he appeared in the comedy The burbs opposite Tom Hanks & Carrie Fisher. As an adult he suffered drug problems & his film career waned & faded out. In the mid & late 1990s he made a number of appearences on the Howard Stern show. In 1989 Feldman married actress Vanessa Marcil ; they were divorced in 1993. In 2002 he married Susie Sprague; she gave birth their first child, a boy named Zen Scott Feldman, on 7 August 2004 in Los Angeles. Corey Haim is a Canadian who became famous as an actor in Hollywood during the 1980s. Haim, a native of Toronto, named James Dean & Cybill Shepherd as his favorite actors. His friendship & collaboration with Corey Feldman was widely publicized during the 80s & they were dubbed The two Coreys. One of his first appearances was in Lucas, alongside Charlie Sheen. He & Feldman quickly became teen-idols. His breakthrough role came in Joel Schumacher s 1987 hit film, The Lost Boys, where he & the other Corey battled teenage vampires. Then, in 1988, he made the movie License to Drive, where he undertook the main character & Feldman had a secondary role. For their next movie, 1989 s Dream a Little Dream, they reversed roles, with Feldman on the lead & Haim as a secondary character. After the 1980s, his career faded. During the 1990s, he made Fast Getaway, a low budget film in which he played a bank robber & the movie spawned a sequel.
