ER is a long-running serial drama created by novelist Michael Crichton & set primarily in the emergency room of a fictitious teaching hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Its first episode aired on NBC in the United States on Monday, September 19, 1994. It is made by the production company Amblin Entertainment. The show is produced & co-written by John Wells. The original cast of relatively unknown actors consisted of Anthony Edwards as Dr Mark Greene, George Clooney as Dr Doug Ross, Sherry Stringfield as Dr. Susan Lewis, Noah Wyle as medical student John Carter & Eriq La Salle as Dr. Peter Benton. Julianna Margulies guest starred in the first two episodes as Nurse Carol Hathaway & then became part of the regular cast. The show has won at least one Emmy every year of its production up to & including 2005, except for 2004. It also won the Peoples Choice Award for Favorite Television Dramatic Series every year from 1997 to 2002.

After what I found a little bit disappointing season 2, season 3 reveales itself as a perfect mixture of drama & comedy following the lives of Dr. Carter, Ross, Greene...

Gloria Reuben is a Canadian film actress. Her Jamaican mother was a gospel singer. She states that she is Jamaican Canadian & not African-American. She began learning piano as a child & studied later music technique & theory, ballet & jazz at the Canadian Royal Conservatory. Her career as an actress was triggered by a few jobs as model & TV ad appearances. In 1996 she was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.
