This is a great movie about a medical revolution & the relationship between the two man how made it going. They invented the new field of medicine, the heart surgery. But since the one was a black man they couldn't share the victory as equals because of the segregation. This tests their collaboration & their friendship.

Boht of the leading actors do a great job, Alan Rickman & Mos Def are realy authentic & expressive all the time. The story is quiet & full of interesting details, a nice piece of work. Not a single minute boredom. Highly recommend !!!

Biography: Alan Rickman

Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman is a British stage & screen actor. Born in Hammersmith, London to a working-class family, Rickman was a graphic designer before entering the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in the early seventies. Since then, he has been a constant presence on the British stage. He made a particular impression as the male lead in the 1985 Royal Shakespeare Company production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses & became known to television audiences playing the role of Mr Slope in the BBC s 1980s adaptation of Barchester Towers. He plays mostly period roles in British movies, while on the Hollywood screen he is typecast as the over-the-top villain. In recent years he has come to the attention of a younger audience through his appearances as the apparently-villainous Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies. Rickman has recently been immortalised in a song composed by English musician Adam Leonard. He also narrated the song Bell on the album Tubular Bells II. Posters Of Alan Rickman

Biography: Mos Def
[Top]
Mos Def is a Brooklyn -born rapper & actor, who actually began his performing career on The Cosby Mysteries in 1994. He switched to rap music & worked with De La Soul & da Bush Babees before releasing his own first single, Universal Magnetic which was a huge underground hit, he then became involved with Rawkus Records. Mos Def & Talib Kweli released Black Star, a full length album, in 1998, with DJ Hi-Tek as producer. Mos Def released his solo debut, Black on Both Sides, in 1999. After the collapse of Rawkus, Mos along with Talib signed on to Interscope/Geffen. An earlier generation of rappers, including Brand Nubian & De La Soul, had made some groundbreaking, thoughtful rap music. They had been replaced by gangsta rap though & Mos Def was one of the principal causes of a revival in such socially aware rap, which also involved Kweli, Common & others. He returned to acting in 2000 & has starred in Monsters Ball, Bamboozled, the 2003 remake of the The Italian Job & the 2004 film The Woodsman. Posters Of Mos Def
