Garfield: The Movie is a 2004 live action movie based on the Jim Davis comic strip Garfield. In this movie, Garfield the cat was created with computer-generated imagery, though all other animals were real. The movie was directed by Peter Hewitt & stars Breckin Meyer as Jon Arbuckle, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Dr Liz Wilson & features Bill Murray as the voice of Garfield the Cat. Dunston Checks In is a 1996 movie starring Jason Alexander. It was written by John Hopkins & directed by Ken Kwapis. The Majestic Hotel is a 5-star luxury establishment & manager Robert Grant is devoted to keeping his guests happy. Grant is informed from the chairman of the hotel that a sixth star could be rewarded to the Majestic Hotel, if a certain representative is impressed & that this representitive is posing as a guest of the Majestic Hotel. However, a certain guest by the name of Lord Rutledge checks in with his orangutan, Dunston, who is trained as a jewel thief. Dunston attempts to escape a life of crime with the help of Kyle & Brian, Grants mischievous sons, but this just might destroy the chances of the hotel becoming a 6-star establishment. William James Murray is an American comedian, producer, film director & actor. Bill was raised in Wilmette, Illinois & graduated from Loyola Academy. Murray initially rose to prominence as a cast member of & a writer for NBC s Saturday Night Live television series from 1977 to 1980. Most of his roles have been comedic, featuring Murrays dry wit. However, he has also played serious roles in films such as Mad Dog & Glory, The Razors Edge & Rushmore. He also garnered considerable acclaim as the lead in the 2003 film Lost in Translation.
