Cedric the Entertainer is an African-American actor & comedian. The self-dubbed title The Entertainer comes from his early days as a comedian when he also sang & danced. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, he spent his younger years as a comedian as well, voted most popular & most humorous by his high school classmates. He began his career doing stand-up comedy, winning several comedy contests & performing at various comedy clubs nationwide. In 1992, he made his first television appearance on Its Showtime at the Apollo. Soon after, he would appear on HBO s Def Comedy Jam & BET s ComicView, which he would later host for the 1994 - 95 season. In 1994, Cedric the Entertainer also won the Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award from BET. In 1996, Cedric moved into acting, playing Steve Harvey s friend, Cedric Jackie Robinson, on his popular sitcom, The Steve Harvey Show. His acting career grew & he began appearing in several movies, including Big Mommas House, Dr Dolittle 2, Barbershop, Barbershop 2, Serving Sara & Intolerable Cruelty. Posters Of Barbershop 2

Darryl Lynn D,L. Hughley is an African-American actor & comedian & star of the sitcom The Hughleys which ran from 1998 to 2002 first on ABC & then on UPN. D,L. Hughley grew up in South Central Los Angeles & had a rough upbringing, getting kicked out of high school & becoming a member of the notorious Bloods gang. After his cousin was shot, D,L. Hughley turned his life around, got a GED & a job and, after prompting by his wife, LaDonna, tried his hand at stand-up comedy. His comedy was a huge success & he was eventually picked to be the first host of BET s Comicview in 1992. By 1997, Hughley went on a nationwide stand-up comedy tour with Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer & Bernie Mac as the Kings of Comedy. The comedy act would later be put into a film by Spike Lee called The Original Kings of Comedy. In 1998, Hughley was given his own TV sitcom, The Hughleys, on ABC. It received high ratings in its first season, thanks to a lead-in by the popular Home Improvement.
