Fun with Dick & Jane is a 2005 film, a remake of a 1977 film. In it, an upper-middle class couple, Dick & Jane Harper, turn to robbery after Dicks company goes bankrupt & they run out of money. It stars Jim Carrey & Téa Leoni as the title roles. The film can be seen almost as a satirical view of Corporate America especially in the CEO of Dicks company. In the year 2000, Dick works for a company called Globodyne. He is promoted to Vice-President of Communications. He then appears on the show Money Talk, where the host & Ralph Nader blast him, the CEO, the CFO & the company as a whole. Almost instantly the companys stock is worthless & the employees pensions are diluted. In the months that follow, Dick cannot find a job & the family gets poorer & poorer. Desperate, Dick & Jane go on a crime spree which ends with them pitting their wits against the CEO of Globodyne & ultimately duping him into reimbursing employee pensions. James Eugene Carrey is a Canadian / American film actor, comedian, writer & producer who was born & grew up in the Toronto suburb of Newmarket, Ontario. Pet Detective, Liar Liar & Bruce Almighty. A native of Canada, Carrey became a US citizen on October 7, 2004. A comedian from an early age, Carrey mailed his resumé to The Carol Burnett Show when he was 10 years old. The teachers in Carreys high school gave him a few minutes at the end of each school day to do a stand-up routine for his classmates. The Carrey family fell on hard times & were forced to move to the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, where they took security & janitorial jobs in the Titan Wheels factory. Carrey began working eight-hour shifts each day after school. Eventually, the Carrey family adjusted by living on a relatives lawn out of the family Volkswagen van until they could move back into town. Carrey dropped out of high school & began to work in comedy clubs & to develop his act, which included impersonations of celebrities such as Michael Landon & James Stewart. Posters Of Jim Carrey
