Background Information: The Fog

The Fog is a 2005 horror film directed by Rupert Wainwright. It is a remake of John Carpenter s The Fog, but with more of a teen horror film flavor. The original music score is composed by Graeme Revell. // Nick Castle is a charter-boat captain in the small coastal town of Antonio Bay. Castles ancestors helped to found Antonio Bay, but while the citys mayor Tom Malone & Kathy Williams, the head of the local historical society, are spearheading an effort to raise money for a statue that would honor the city fathers, Castle is more interested in seeing the towns rickety docks & aging sea wall replaced. However, Castle has been too distracted with personal matters to wage a campaign of his own — he has been having an affair with Stevie Wayne, a single mother who runs a combination radio station & lighthouse, while his former flame Elizabeth Williams has returned to town to mend fences with her mother & finds herself renewing her romance with Castle.
