Henry Codman Potter was a theatrical producer/director & a motion picture director. Born in New York City, New York, Potter rose to prominence as a major Broadway producer that led to opportunites to direct motion pictures. For his contribution to the motion picture industry, H C Potter has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6633 Hollywood Blvd. In 1977, the Directors Guild of America gave H C Potter an Honorary Life Member Award.
