Family Guy is an animated television series set in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. The show was created by Seth MacFarlane & features many of his voices as well as those of others, including actresses Jennifer Tilly & That 70s Show star Mila Kunis, actor Seth Green, Mad TV star Alex Borstein & comedic actor Patrick Warburton. Former Batman star Adam West & Haley Joel Osment, among others, also occasionally appear. List of characters from Family Guy The show centers around the adventures of Peter Griffin & his family. Peter is an incompetent production line worker at a toy factory & a bumbling, drunken father, yet still a dedicated family man. His wife, Lois, is a stay-at-home mom & the daughter of wealthy socialites. Their children consist of the socially-awkward & status-conscious Meg, the mentally slow, yet artistically-gifted Chris & the diabolically super-intelligent & potentially matricidal baby Stewie. Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is the creator of the animated series Family Guy & American Dad!. // MacFarlane received his diploma at Kent School & then attended & studied animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. While in college, he created a short film entitled The Life of Larry, an early ancestor of Family Guy. After graduation, he was hired by Hanna-Barbera Productions & later worked as an animator & writer for Cartoon Network s Cartoon Cartoon series, which included the shows Johnny Bravo, Dexters Laboratory & Cow & Chicken. Pet Detective & created Larry & Steve, a short cartoon that was on Cartoon Networks What-A-Cartoon! show. MacFarlanes first individual undertaking, Family Guy is an animated comedy which follows the life of the Griffin family. Peter Griffin, the father, is a loud, obnoxious, sexist, inconsiderate, yet loveable oaf.
