Biography: Doug Mcclure

 | Douglas Osborne McClure was an American actor whose career in film & television extended from the 1950s to the 1990s. He is remembered for his appearences in westerns like The Virginian & science fiction films like The Land That Time Forgot. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7065 Hollywood Blvd & is buried at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. He partially inspired the character of Troy McClure on The Simpsons.
