BCLC is a childrens programme that is bright & colourful & keeps my children occupied, interested in cooking & keen to sing the songs. However, this disc is rather expensive for just four episodes. As such, the shelf life of this is rather limited, especially as a different episode continues to be shown on tv everyday. The extras were not up to much either. This is a shame; more episodes & more interactive extras would have made this a really useful DVD.

Dan Wright is the keyboard player for the band Proto-Kaw. A strong soloist, Dan’s creative style & use of odd effects became another trademark with the Kansas II sound. As a founding member of Kansas, versions I & II Dan had a prior history of playing with Kerry Livgren & Don Montre in bands prior to Kansas. After Kansas, Dan played in a few bands in the Midwest, but left music for the real world. Initially hesitant about reuniting with the Kansas II guys at the release party/jam for their Early Recordings from Kansas 1971-1973 CD, he finally relented & is playing with them to this day.
