The French Premier is an intelligently designed DVD. I do like the fact that the learning that this DVD offers is interactive. You can sellect a section that you would like to start with, & really learn at your own pace.The graphics are particularly excellent, every section is well explained & pleasantly narrated with very clear pronounciation. You can see that this learning program was created with much thought. The French Premier is an excellent buy. I strongly recommend it!

Elizabeth Allen was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 25, 1934 & christened Elizabeth Ellen Gillease, of Irish extraction. She was married to & divorced from a real-life Baron, one Baron Carl von Vittinghoff-Schell. She was twice nominated for Tony Awards from her performances on Broadway. The darkly, coolly attractive actress is perhaps best known on TV for her role as the creepy saleslady in the episode of The Twilight Zone where actress Anne Francis finally realizes that she is a mannequin & that her month of freedom & living amongst the humans is over. Allens saleslady character is the mannequin whose turns is up next & has already been delayed by one full day, explaining her slightly peeved attitude. Allen quietly retired from show business in 1982, after appearing in the TV series Texas for two seasons, probably from her recollections of dealing with Paul Lynde s meltdown behind the scenes on The Paul Lynde Show, in which she unfortunately found herself cast from 1972-1973.
