Bulletproof is a 1996 American movie directed by Ernest Dickerson & starring Adam Sandler, Damon Wayans, James Caan & Jeep Swenson. Archie Moses is a small time crook working for a large drug importer & car dealer Frank Colton. He is unaware that his best friend Rock Keats is an undercover cop seeking evidence against Colton. During a raid on Coltons warehouse, Archie accidentally shoots Rock. Archie then flees the state & is subsequently arrested several months later. Gary Busey is an American film actor. He began his show-business career as a drummer in The Rubber Band. Busey is often cast as a rebel of some sort. He is widely sought after for his intricate knowledge of martial arts. Despite this, many consider his most noteworthy role as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story, for which he received an Oscar nomination. Busey attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he became interested in acting. He is listed as one of the universitys outstanding alumni. In his later years Busey has become obsessed with his health, adhering to a strict exercise & diet regime in an attempt to maintain his physical & mental abilities. Henry Silva, an actor of Puerto Rican heritage who has played a wide variety of heavies in the movies, was born on September 15, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. Bitten by the acting big, he quit school when he was 13 years old to attend drama classes, supporting himself as a dishwasher & waiter in a Manhattan hotel. By 1955, Silva felt ready to audition for the Actors Studio. He was one of five students chosen out of more than 2,500 applicants. When the Studio staged Michael V Gazzo s play, A Hatful of Rain as a classroom project, it proved so successful it came to Broadway, with students Ben Gazzara, Shelley Winters, Harry Guardino, Tony Franciosa & Henry Silva in key roles. Silva also appeared in the movie version of the play. Called to Hollywood, he played a succession of heavies in films including The Tall T, The Bravados, Green Mansions, Oceans Eleven, The Manchurian Candidate & Johnny Cool. An Italian producer made Henry an offer he couldnt refuse--to star as a hero for a change--and he moved his family overseas.
