Batman Begins is a video game based on the fifth Batman movie. Released on the same day as the highly-anticipated movie, Batman Begins follows the film as it explores the origins of the Batman legend & the Dark Knights emergence as a force for good in Gotham. In the wake of his parents murder, disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne travels the world seeking the means to fight injustice & turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect & an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city across 14 Gotham City locales. Batman Begins discards the previous four films in the series & recasts the Caped Crusader as a fearsome avenging angel. Thats good news, because the series, which had gotten off to a rousing start under Tim Burton, had gradually dissolved into self-parody by 1997s Batman & Robin. As the title implies, Batman Begins tells the story anew, when Bruce Wayne flees Western civilization following the murder of his parents. He is taken in by a mysterious instructor named Ducard & urged to become a ninja in the League of Shadows, but he instead returns to his native Gotham City resolved to end the mob rule that is strangling it. But are there forces even more sinister at hand?

Co-written by the team of David S. Goyer & director Christopher Nolan , Batman Begins is a welcome return to the grim & gritty version of the Dark Knight, owing a great debt to the graphic novels that preceded it. It doesnt have the razzle dazzle, or the mass appeal, of Spider-Man 2 , & retelling the origin means it starts slowly, like most first superhero movies. But its certainly the best Bat-film since Burtons original, & one of the best superhero movies of its time. Bale cuts a good figure as Batman, intense & dangerous but with some of the lightheartedness Michael Keaton brought to the character. Michael Caine provides much of the films humor as the family butler, Alfred, & as the love interest, Katie Holmes is surprisingly believable in her first adult role. Also featuring Gary Oldman as the young police officer Jim Gordon, Morgan Freeman as a Q-like gadgets expert, & Cillian Murphy as the vile Jonathan Crane.

Christian Charles Philip Bale is a Welsh actor from Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. Christian Bale fans are referred to as Baleheads. He stands 6′2″ in height. Christian Bale was born to David Bale & a mother who was a circus performer. Erin Bale, Sharon Bale & Louise Bale. Christian spent his childhood in a variety of countries including England, Portugal & the United States. He began his acting career by appearing in a Pac-man cereal commercial in England in at age 9 & then appeared a year later in the West End play The Nerd. His big break came in 1987 when he was picked for the role of Jim in Steven Spielbergs Empire of the Sun. The new-found celebrity status brought some trouble for the 13-year-old. However, he continued acting, next appearing in Henry V & TV roles before taking on several movie projects in row starting in 1992 with the Disney musical Newsies. Katie Holmes is an American actress best known as Joey Potter on Dawsons Creek. Born Katherine Noelle Holmes in Toledo, Ohio, she was the youngest of the five children of Martin, an attorney & Kathleen Holmes. She attended Catholic schools in Toledo, including the all-female Notre Dame Academy. While in high school, she went with her mother to Los Angeles to audition for pilots for television shows. She did not land a television role, but was cast as the improbably named Libbets Casey in the film The Ice Storm, directed by Ang Lee & starring Kevin Kline & Sigourney Weaver. She returned to Toledo but her audition tapes continued to circulate. Dawsons Creek. Her appointment to read for it was unknowingly set by the producers for the same day as her high school production of Damn Yankees, but they permitted her to send a videotape rather than make her miss the show. Holmes read for the part of Joey, the tomboyish best friend of the title character, while her mother read Dawsons lines, including dialogue about sex & masturbation. Holmes won the part.
