I'd heard of Brian Freidman but had never had the opportunity to do class with him so wasn't sure what to expect. He ROCKS. His style is raw, contemporary, very challenging, technical & risky & the DVD is great. It's starts with an audition, taking you through what professional choreographers expect & how a proper audition goes. Then for the highlight you get to learn FOUR very distinct routines. Finally you see not only the dancers perform but also the choreographer himself. Don't be put off by the cover of this which does it no justice at all. It's a superb buy - but be warned, tricky stuff!
