Love Object is a 2003 film written & directed by Robert Parigi. Kenneth plays an efficient but socially awkward technical writer who develops an obsessive relationship with Nikki, a rubber sex doll he orders. Kenneth Winslow is an extremely shy but brilliant technical writer who orders a rubber sex-doll after discovering two of his co-workers fooling around with said subject. He develops a relationship with Nikki, to the point of talking & even arguing with her. Kenneth begins to display bizarre behavior & starts to feel stalked by Nikki. His relationship with Nikki evolves into a love-hate situation & at one point even beats her. During the time he has a relationship with Nikki, he meets Lisa, a temp that his boss, Mr .Novak has assigned to work with Kenneth. Kenneth reluctantly accepts Lisa as his assistant, but the two slowly begin to develop a relationship. Kenneth encourages Lisa to resemble Nikki by cutting her hair the way Nikki has it & wearing the same clothes Nikki has. Its during this time that Nikki stalks Kenneth.

May was a horror film released in 2002. It stars Angela Bettis, Anna Faris & Jeremy Sisto & was written & directed by Lucky McKee. The plot revolves around an awkward, lonley young woman named May. She had a troubled childhood, as her lazy eye kept her from feeling normal. Thus, her mother suggests an eyepatch for her to wear. Although this does nothing, except entice a boy to ask her Are you a pirate?, when she answers no, the children dissipate from her. Such was her life, devoid of meaningful physical contact with others. Her only true friend is a doll, Suzy, that her mother had & gave it to May on her birthday. If you cant find a friend, make one, her mother tells her. Which is also the films tagline. & when she is unable to find the perfect friend, she decides to do just that.
Biography: Desmond Harrington

Desmond Harrington is an American actor, who gained fame through movies like The Hole & Ghost Ship. When Harrington was three years old, his family moved from Savannah to The Bronx, New York, where he attended Catholic schools. He graduated from Fordham Preparatory School, a Jesuit high school. As a hyperactive student, he caused problems at school & away. After high school, he attended Manhattan College, but was thrown out after only six weeks. Desmond had dreamed of becoming an actor & horrified his parents by trading school for work in construction, as a landscaper & bar tending so he could pay for acting classes in Manhattan with John Stratsberg. Through acting, Desmond had found an appropriate outlet for his hyperactive behavior. The Story of Joan of Arc. This TV film meant a big breakthrough for him in Hollywood. He received further roles from 2000 to 2004 in major films. Harrington is currently filming Bottoms Up with Paris Hilton. At the moment, Harrington lives in Los Angeles.
