Background Information: Las Vegas [Top] Las Vegas is a dramatic television series about an ex- marine working in a Las Vegas casino for the head of surveillance. The show used the style of zoom in-zoom out camera angles popularized by CSI. Danny McCoy, an ex-marine who works for Ed Deline in security at a fictional Las Vegas casino called the Montecito. The show is narrated by this character in the first few episodes. Played by Josh Duhamel. Ed Deline, a former CIA officer, he is now the tough-guy head of security at a Las Vegas casino. Played by James Caan. Mary Connell, the Special Events Director at the casino. Played by Nikki Cox. Mike Cannon, a brainy but goodlooking engineer who takes a job as Montecitos head valet parker because it pays so well. Played by James Lesure. Samantha Sam Jane, a hottie casino host. Played by Vanessa Marcil. Delinda Deline, Eds daughter & Dannys love interest for the first few episodes. Played by Molly Sims. Nessa Holt, The Ice Queen. A casino manager with a shady past. Played by Marsha Thomason. 00 PM, EST/PST, on Mondays starting with September 22, 2003. Posters Of Las VegasConsumer DVD Review [Top] Las Vegas is fantastic. Being a fan of the CSI series & 24 I found this a refreshing change, although just as good. It is quite light hearted with some good humour & fun storylines. It is a great mix of crime solving , security & technology , quirky but loveable characters & some very funny moments.
Biography: James Caan [Top] James Caan is an American actor. Caan began acting in television in such series as The Untouchables. Caans first substantial film role was as a menacing villain in the 1964 thriller Lady In A Cage. In 1967, Caan appeared in El Dorado with John Wayne. Caan first won praise for his role as a brain-damaged football player in The Rain People, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. In 1971, Caan won even greater acclaim as dying football player Brian Piccolo in the television movie Brians Song. The following year Coppola cast Caan as mobster Sonny Corleone in The Godfather, which also helped launch Al Pacino s career. For his role Caan was nominated for an Academy Award. From 1973 to 1982, Caan appeared in many Hollywood films. He played a wide variety of roles & refused to be typecast as a mobster. His many films include Cinderella Liberty, Freebie & The Bean, The Gambler, The Killer Elite, Rollerball, Harry & Walter Go To New York, A Bridge Too Far, Comes A Horseman & Chapter Two.

The Minot, North Dakota native also was named to People magazine s 2004 list of Most Beautiful People. While on All My Children, word got out that he posed nude for a performance art coffee table book a couple of years before. The book was re-published & sold many more copies.
