Consumer DVD Review [Top] What can i say?
This is a brillaint adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskells novel! As soon as the series was over i pre-ordered the dvd!! It was a long wait but definitely worth while!! I recieved the dvd a few days ago & so far i have watched it many times especially the end scene. The on going love story is gripping & the talent shown by Richard Armitage & Daniela Denby Ashe is superb & such a contrast to the rebellious teenage character played in My Family. The chemistry between the two characters was soo believable! I also have to mention a good performance from Jo Joyner who played Fanny Thornton . I found her halerious which added a nice touch to the serious issues also displayed. I recommend this to everyone who enjoys period dramas. The script is excellent, the settings were very impressive & overall this dvd is a MUST BUY!!! Biography: Richard Armitage [Top] Richard Armitage is an English actor.
