Action Man is a childrens television program, created using computer animation. The lead in this action-adventure show, Action Man, is a member of an elite multinational task force. While fighting for this task force, Action Man tries also to unlock the mystery of his past. The programme is based upon the action figure of the same name. Produced by DiC Entertainment, Action Man producers dubbed the show as being in the vein of James Bond & Indiana Jones & claimed the show would thrill both children & parents. The series was created using live-action footage to enhance the computer animation. DiCs sales promotions touted its morphing techniques. Twenty-six episodes, half an hour each.

Sleepy Hollow is a historical fantasy film interpreting the legend of the Headless Horseman & based loosely around the Washington Irving story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It stars Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane & Christina Ricci as Katrina Van Tassel. Primary filming was carried out at Leavesden Film Studios. The plot concerns a rural community in 1799, where inhabitants are being decapitated & their heads taken. The locals believe a ghost, the Headless Horseman, is responsible, but Ichabod Crane, a constable sent to investigate from New York, only believes in science. He is eager to find the murderer & prove his scientific methods worth. He discovers that there really is a ghost, but must find the human force behind it before more heads roll.
