It was directed by Mike Newell & was released on November 18, 2005. It is rated PG-13 in the United States, 12A in the UK & Ireland & M15 in Australia. Three days after its release, the film had grossed approximately $102 million at the North American box office, the highest first-week tally for a Harry Potter film. The film has been nominated for five awards. - Difficult times lie ahead, Harry - Everything is about to change // The movie starts with an enormous snake slithering past a derelict graveyard beside an abandoned manor. Frank Bryce, the caretaker, is boiling water for tea when he sees a light shining in the Riddle house. He assumes there are vandals who come to make trouble in the old manor. Frank then goes to the house & enters. He goes up the stairs & hears three men talking in a room. Frank goes nearer to have a closer look & we see Wormtail & an unknown man talking to an unseen Voldemort sitting on an armchair. Biography: Daniel Radcliffe [Top] Daniel Jacob Radcliffe, from Fulham West London, is a British actor who is best known for playing Harry Potter, the main character of the film Harry Potter & the Philosophers Stone & its sequels. However, they must have soon changed their minds, as in December 1999, he made his first on-screen appearance as the young David Copperfield in David Copperfield, the BBC s televised version of the Dickens novel David Copperfield. This was followed in 2001 by his first film appearance, as Mark Pendel in The Tailor of Panama. He has also starred in the movies Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets & Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban. He is currently filming Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. He is currently being educated at the City of London School in London. He lives with his mother & father in their furnished attic, which is his new bedroom. He has two dogs named Binka & Nugget.
