Lone Wolf McQuade is a 1983 action film, starring Chuck Norris, David Carradine & Barbara Carrera, directed by Steve Carver. The main character, J,J. McQuade, is a Texas Ranger who prefers to work alone. He lives in a dirty home in the middle of nowhere with a pet wolf. He has a daughter who came from a past marriage. The movie opens with McQuade involved in an intense battle from which he emerges unscathed. Shaking off the dust, McQuade returns to the city to attend his fellow Ranger & close friend Dakotas retirement. After the party his commander attempts to curb his lone wolf attitude by insisting he work with local deputy Kayo Ramos. After McQuades daughter is injured after she witnesses an illegal arms deal, McQuade more readily works with Kayo to find out who did this to his little girl. As the story progresses, they are joined by Federal Agent Jackson. The trail leads them to Rawley Wilkes. Wilkes is hijacking US arms shipments for his illicit weapons deals. No good movie is without a love story.

One of the finest films ever made. It's up there with The Seventh Seal, Smokey & The Bandit, The Battle of Algiers, Citizen Kane & Battleship Potemkin. Absolutely Essential. From the opening credits with the wolf to the burial sequence to that final kick, it is a classic. Only Invasion USA can truly match it.

Carlos Ray Norris Jr., better known in the entertainment world as Chuck Norris, is a martial artist, an American action movie actor & Hollywood star. A native of Ryan, Oklahoma, Norris has two younger brothers, of which Hollywood producer Aaron Norris is one. Norris is part Cherokee & part British & Irish. When Norris was 12, his parents divorced & he relocated to California with his mother & brothers. There, he finished high school & soon married his girlfriend, Diane Holechek. After marriage, Norris joined the United States Air Force & was sent to South Korea. It was in South Korea that Norris acquired the nickname Chuck. He later joined the United States Marine Corps. He has portrayed an Army Major in Delta Force, Army Colonel in Missing in Action & a Marine Captain during flashback scenes in his T,V. hit series Walker, Texas Ranger. Norris has indicated in his own biography that he has black belts in Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do & is founder of Chun Kuk Do. Mr. Norris has also practiced Judo, Shito-Ryu Karate & Brazilian jujutsu. David Carradine is an American actor & ex- Marine. He is the son of actor John Carradine, the brother of Keith Carradine & half-brother of Robert Carradine. He starred in the television series, Shane, but was best known for the role of Kwai Chang Caine in the television series Kung Fu. He has also played many roles in motion pictures, beginning with one as a gunslinger in Taggart, a 1964 western film based on a novel by Louis LAmour. Most recently, he played the title role in Quentin Tarantinos Kill Bill volumes one & two, starring Uma Thurman. He studied drama at San Fransisco State University. He began studying the Martial Arts after getting cast in Kung Fu. He was convicted of drunk driving October 1998. He subsequently served 48 hours in jail & did community service. Has a lifelong fascination with Eastern philosophies & culture which resulted in him writing the book Spirit of the Shaolin about the philosophy of Kung Fu.
