If you like the BBCs excellent swindle show Hustle, then will love this small but perfectly formed recent British flick which actually manages to out manoeuvre the audience at every twist & turn . Although there are some very familiar faces in there, the cast are largely unknown but provide excellent performances throughout in this dark & suspenseful tale of revenge.
The story is too complicated to go into detail here but basically revolves around a group of actors who get together to pull off an insurance scam when they find out that their bereaved friends insurance broker never pays out for a local serial killers murders unless a body actually turns up. But as usual with this kind of film, things are more dangerous than they first appear, particularly when everyone is keen on being the only man standing when it comes to the final pay out ...
Needless to say there is deception, greed, lust, mystery & murders aplenty here. Oh, & a lot of very British gallows humour to take the sting out of it too. Try it... you will certainly be surprised!
