Scooby-Doo is a 2002 live-action movie, based upon the popular Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. The film was directed by Raja Gosnell & written by James Gunn. It was produced by Charles Roven & Richard Suckle for Warner Bros. Pictures & starred Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Freddie Prinze, Jr. as Fred, Linda Cardellini as Velma, Neil Fanning as the voice of Scooby-Doo & Rowan Atkinson as Emile Mondavarious. So there I was, waiting for the movies to start, I mean I was seeing Scooby Doo THE MOVIE! with sarah-michelle gellar!! Woo Hoo. And then it started & I was pleased, VERY PLEASED , i mean the movie was exactly what i could have hoped for! While there were somethings that didnt quite please me, this was a damn good film! For me I liked the t.v. show, but wasnt the biggest fan, & i could see that this film could please both, the effects were good, had good acting a good storyline, & the end is just SOOOO GREAT a complete classic! But not everyone will like it. You have to relize its a childrens film! And thats where I come to the second film, it waas much more for everyone, i sat there with my sister & I had lots of fun, an the second really does give you everything you wanted! And it shows it in both of the films succeses!! Both getting great reviews & doing brilliantly at the box-office! Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed beat the Passion Of the Christ to the No.1 spot at the box office! So as you can probably tell I am definatly going to buy this box set. I was just waiting for it! And right now as Im writing this review Ive changed its rating from 4 stars to a 5. P.S. But be warned cannot please all e.g. 16 year old boys etc.

Freddie James Prinze, Jr. is an American actor, perhaps best known for his leading roles in teen-oriented films. // Prinze, Jr. was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Katherine Elaine Cochran & Freddie Prinze, a well-known comedian & actor who committed suicide in 1977, when Prinze, Jr. was ten months old. Prinze, Jr .s paternal grandfather was German & his paternal grandmother was Puerto Rican ; he was raised a Catholic & embraces his Puerto Rican heritage. Prinze, Jr. grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico & Puerto Rico. He learned about Spanish & Puerto Rican culture from his paternal grandmothers Puerto Rican family. He showed an interest in acting from an early age & attended La Cueva High School in Albuquerque. Having an interest in drama, he became a member of the Albuquerque Childrens Theatre & the Duo Drama Company. After graduating in 1994, he moved to Los Angeles & began auditioning for television roles. Prinze, Jr. was cast in a guest role on the ABC TV series Family Matters in 1995. Sarah Michelle Gellar was the leading actress in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was born in New York City & has been acting since the age of 4, when she did a commercial for Burger King. Her best friend as a child was Melissa Joan Hart who later played Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Gellars major break was in 1992, in the teen soap opera Swans Crossing. From there, she moved on to the long-runing soap opera, All My Children, where she played the conniving character Kendall Hart Lang, long-lost daughter of principal character Erica Kane. In 1995, at the age of eighteen, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series. Gellar left the series later that year after highly-publicized fights with Lucci, who was, by many accounts, jealous of Sarah Michelles Emmy win; this is due to Lucci receiving over a dozen nominations & never winning. Continuous on-set squabbles would haunt Gellars reputation throughout her career. Gellar left All My Children in 1995 & landed the lead in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
