Christopher Plummer is a Canadian theatrical, film & television actor. He is one of his countrys most prominent & respected actors & viewed by most as one of the worlds finest stage performers, particularly in roles from the pen of William Shakespeare. His international popularity began with his role as Captain von Trapp in the 1965 film The Sound of Music, costarring Julie Andrews. Plummer was born in Toronto, Ontario. The great grandson of former Canadian Prime Minister Sir John Abbott, following his parents divorce he moved with his mother to live in Senneville, Quebec, near Montreal. He studied to be a concert pianist but developed a love of the theater at an early age & began acting in High School. He went on to train for the theater with the Canadian Repertory Company in Ottawa. Christopher Plummer began his professional career in Canadian theater, radio in the late 1940s, performing in both the English & French languages. He made his Broadway debut in 1954 & has performed numerous roles at the Stratford Festival of Canada & London s West End.

Stephanie Beacham is a British actress, best known worldwide for her role as Sable Colby on the television series The Colbys & Dynasty. After a number of decorous supporting roles Beachams first starring film role was opposite Marlon Brando in 1972 s The Nightcomers directed by Michael Winner. However the film was made at the low point of Brandos career & flopped. Beacham found the filming unpleasant as she is deaf in one ear & as a prank Brando would pretend to be deaf on the same side. She appeared nude in the film which earned her a reputation as a screen sex kitten that she played on & was cast in a Hammer Horror film as well as modelling nude for Playboy. In the late 1990s Graham Norton presented her with a copy of the issue & she said her only regret was the wig. Beacham starred in a risque Italian made film in which she again appeared nude in 1973. Following the success of Joan Collins The Bitch the film was re-released in the UK in the late 1970s under the title Super Bitch & regained Beacham attention.
