Conan the Destroyer is a fantasy -adventure film released in 1984 starring future Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger before he was an established star ; featuring swordplay & wizardry, it was a sequel to the highly-successful Conan the Barbarian. Conan accepts a mission from the evil Queen Taramis to escort the gorgeous yet innocent Princess Jehnna, along with her giant bodyguard Bombaata, in search of a magic gem that gives its holder safe passage to a Horn. In return, the queen has promised Conan that she will resurrect Conans dead love, Valeria, upon completion of their quest. Unbeknownst to Conan, however, the Queen secretly plots with the Grand Vizier to have Bombaata kill Conan after they find the gem; the gem, when placed in their sacred temple, will reawaken the long-dormant god of chaos, Dagoth. Accompanying Conan, the Princess & Bombaata is Malak, Conans trusty yet squirmish sidekick. At the onset of their journey, they find Akiro the wizard being harassed by a group of cannibals. Conan rescues him from his tormentors, so he joins their group as their wizard.

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is an Austrian - American bodybuilder, Golden Globe nominated actor & Republican politician, currently serving as the 38th Governor of California. He was elected on October 7, 2003 in a special recall election which removed the sitting governor, Gray Davis, from office. Schwarzenegger was sworn in on November 17, 2003, to serve the remainder of Davis term, which lasts until January 8, 2007. On September 16th, 2005 he officially announced that he will seek re-election to a full term in Californias 2006 gubernatorial election. Nicknamed The Austrian Oak in his body-building days & more recently The Governator, Schwarzenegger as a young man gained widespread attention as a highly successful bodybuilder & later gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film star. Grace Jones born Grace Mendoza, in Spanish Town, Kingston, Jamaica ; 1948 & 1954 have also been listed as her year of birth is a model, singer & actress. Jones is known for her post-modern costuming & performance, at which she dressed in mens clothing & gorilla suits. She gained a reputation for temperament after she physically attacked British chat show host, Russell Harty, because he turned his back on her to speak to another guest. Musically, she began singing disco, then moved on into quirky pop & reggae, featuring big names in Jamaican music on albums such as Nightclubbing. Later, she recorded hip-hop flavored dance music. She was a Bond girl in A View to a Kill, a 1985 movie in the James Bond series of films. She later had a role in the 1992 Eddie Murphy film Boomerang. Earlier in her acting career, she starred alongside future governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger & NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain in 1984 s Conan the Destroyer.
