„Love Kills stars & is directed by Mario van Peebles, but to begin with: This movie isnt as good as his prior pictures „Posse or „New Jack City.

At the beginning of the movie van Peebles escapes from jail with the help of his parter , & together they try to get to the money of a rich widdow by posing as fitness-trainer & nurse. Along the way there are many twists & turns , but the story isnt new & gripping enough to make the picture totally worth it.

You have to give the movie creit for the characters involved: Daniel Baldwin is great, as well as Donovan Leitch & Mario van Peebles himself, & in a way all figures are a bit over the top . The stylish filmmaking & the good soundtrack underline the Tarantino-style atmosphere, but the thing is that „Love Kills simply dosnt have much tempo & even less suspence to lift it above average. All in all a good B-movie, but nothing more.

Lesley Ann Warren, is an American actress. She was born in New York City & began her career as a ballet dancer, training at the School of American Ballet. She entered the Actors Studio at the age of seventeen, reputedly the youngest applicant ever to be accepted. She made her Broadway debut in 1963 in the musical, 110 in the Shade. Having failed to obtain the role of Liesl in the film version of The Sound of Music, her first major success was in the title role of Rodgers & Hammerstain s television special, Cinderella, in 1965. She later replaced Barbara Bain as the leading female in the Mission Impossible team. In 1967, she married producer Jon Peters & they had one son, Christopher, who became an actor, but were later divorced. Her numerous film appearances include The Happiest Millionaire, Cat Ballou, Victor/Victoria & famous Miss Scarlet in Clue. She has also appeared extensively on television.
