Background Information: Rubbadubbers

The Rubbadubbers is a stop motion animation childrens show from Hit Entertainment. The television show features characters who are animate bath toys. They often excitedly announce that the children are about to take a bath. Each episode begins with the Rubbadubbers in the bathroom. After a short while, one of the characters, normally Terence the crocodile, uses the phrase if only followed by what they wish. The character is then transported to a dream-world where that if only is true. It always turns out that the if only goes wrong & the character wishes another if only that takes them back from the dream world to the bathroom. John Gordon Sinclair is a Scottish actor most famous for playing Gregory in Gregorys Girl, when he was 19 years old.

Biography: Sean Hughes

Sean Hughes is a British comedian. He had an unhappy childhood moving from school to school & found it hard to make friends. It was his desire to escape from this unhappiness that first led him into comedy. Whilst working part time in a London supermarket he came across the Comedy Store & was determined to work there in the future. In 1987 he started working in the comedy store & with his show, A One Night Stand With Sean Hughes he became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award. In the early 1990s he had his own TV show, Seans Show. As well as comedy, he has also written collections of prose & poetry & worked on a number of films. Until 2002 he was a panelist on the BBC 2 comedy quiz show Never Mind the Buzzcocks, alongside Phill Jupitus & Mark Lamarr. He currently lives in London with his cat & two dogs. Biography: Brian Little

Brian Little is an English football player & manager. On leaving school in 1970 he signed for Aston Villa who had just been relegated to the Third Division for the first time in their history. He made 247 appearances for the club & scored 60 goals & made one full international appearance for England in 1975. At club level Aston Villa were the only team he ever played for & he was in their League Cup winning teams of 1975 & 1977 as well helping the club climb from the Third to First Division in the early part of the decade. His playing career came to a halt in 1979 when he retired due to a knee injury at the age of 26. Although his playing career was over, Brian Little remained on the Aston Villa payroll as youth team coach. But when manager Tony Barton was sacked in the summer of 1984, Littles contract was also terminated & he became first-team coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers. When Little arrived at Wolverhampton Wanderers, the club was in the middle of three consecutive relegations & by 1986 were in the Fourth Division for the first time with huge debts.
