Brian Keith Tochi is an American actor, screenwriter, movie director & producer. He attended USC, UCLA & UCI. Of Asian ancestry, Tochi frequently plays characters who are Japanese, Chinese, or of other Asiatic origin, adopting the appropriate accent as needed. Among his more famous characters are Takashi from the Revenge of the Nerds movie series, Cadet Nogata from the third & fourth Police Academy movies, martial arts expert Tee Gar Soom from the childrens series Space Academy & the Crown Prince Chulalongkorn in the short-lived series Anna & the King. Early roles for Tochi included a 1968 episode of Star Trek, guest appearances on both The Brady Bunch & The Partridge Family & a repeating role on Hawaii Five-O. The Next Generation & the 1980s revival of The Twilight Zone. His regular television roles included hosting Razzmatazz & appearing in the television dramas St. Elsewhere & Santa Barbara.
