As millions of people know, E.T is a steven speilberg creation, an epic adventure in volving elliots friendship with a creature not from this world, an Extra Terrestrial.

But we want to know what the special features are on this box set. It includes both the 1982 & 2002, so one can see the differences in the special effects & techniques used in both. Also there are slight variations in some scenes, especially when E.T takes a bath! For viewing purposes I would reccommend the newer edition, but nothing beats the original & therefore its a must have seeing as your getting the restored anbd the original! All in all a great buy & adds another special edition to my or anyones collection

Biography: Henry Thomas
[Top]
Henry Thomas. Henry Thomas was a major pre-war country blues singer & musician. Thomas, born in Big Sandy, Texas, began his musician career as an itinerant songster & recorded twenty-three songs from 1927 to 1929. He accompanied himself with the guitar & the quills, a folk instrument made from cane reeds that sound similar to the quena used by musicians in Peru & Bolivia. Some of his records are hard to categorize. They are sounding more like ancestors to blues than like what is now called blues. They are therefore a rare testimony of the kind of music which preceeded the establishment of the blues music in the 19th century. Maybe his nowaday best known influence is the song going down the country which was also recorded by Canned Heat in a quite psychedelic version. Posters Of Dead Birds

Biography: Steven Spielberg
[Top]
Steven Allan Spielberg KBE is a Jewish American film director whose films range from science fiction to historical drama to horror. He is noted for the patriotism of his work and, in recent years, for his willingness to tackle controversial issues. One consistent theme in his work is the abuse of others, whether it is a father abusing his children or a government agency abusing an entire class of people. Spielberg is arguably the most financially successful motion picture director of all time. He has helmed an astounding number of feature films that have become enormous box-office hits & this has given him enormous influence in Hollywood. As of 2004, he has been listed in Premiere & other magazines as the most powerful & influential figure in the motion picture industry. He is seen as a figure who has the influence, financial resources & acceptance of Hollywood studio authorities to make any movie he wants to make, be it a mainstream action-adventure movie or a three-hour-long black & white drama about a controversial historical subject.
