Bruce Willis is an American actor. Born at a military base in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, he was raised in Penns Grove, New Jersey & moved to New York to become an actor. He first found fame with his starring role in the hit TV series Moonlighting before starring in the Die Hard movies. Willis was married to actress Demi Moore from November 21, 1987 to October 18, 2000. The couple gave no reason for their breakup. Rumer Glen Willis, Scout LaRue Willis & Tallulah Belle Willis. Since their breakup, rumors have persisted that the couple plan to re-marry, but no official announcements have ever been made. Willis & Moore remain on friendly terms & often attend public events together. Currently, Willis is dating Days of Our Lives actress Nadia Bjorlin. Bruce Willis’ first starring vehicle was 1987’s Blind Date, a Blake Edwards comedy in which the actor plays a yuppie set up on a blind date with a beautiful blonde . Everything goes swimmingly until Willis does what he was warned not to do: give the lady alcohol, which causes her to get entirely out of control. The one-note joke basically turns the film into a succession of set pieces in which Willis has to keep up with Basinger, bail her out of trouble, or get out of the way of her hot-headed former boyfriend . Willis is fine, Basinger is impressively unhinged, Larroquette is hilarious, & Phil Hartman has a nice role as the friend who set up Willis’ evening from hell. The slapstick shtick is classic Edwards, but the film is not Edwards at his most inspired. Consider Blind Date the work of a good filmmaker in a holding pattern.,

Blake Edwards is a American film director & producer. Born William Blake McEdwards in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of a stage director. He was originally an actor & script-writer. His most popular films have been comedies, the alcoholism-themed melodrama Days of Wine & Roses being a notable exception. His most fruitful collaboration has been with Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther movies. Efforts to revive the Panther franchise after the death of Sellers met with little critical or commercial success. In 2004 he received an Academy Honorary Award for cumulative achievements over the course of his film career. His second wife is Julie Andrews, who has appeared in a number of his films including Darling Lili, 10, Victor/Victoria & the autobiographical satire SOB. in which Andrews played a character very similar to herself.
