If you lived these days as a lot of us did, filling grandstands & arenas, buying magazines & LPs, glued to one of the all-too-few tv appearances by the family--this will certainly bring back a lot of memories. The facts are often chronologically out of order, & historically shaky, but the general spirit & facts are there. The actors do a nice job of capturing their roles,and the music goes a long way to connect with the times. The cameo by the real Osmonds at the end is a nice touch as well. If you werent around in that era, & want to experience it from a fan perspective, get this movie!

Bruce Travis McGill was born on July 11, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas. He has starred in many films, perhaps his most well-known role being D-Day in the 1978 comedy classic National Lampoons Animal House. Red, White & Blonde & Runaway Jury. Voyager as Captain Braxten in the episode Relativity & Babylon 5 as Major Ed Ryan in the third season episode Severed Dreams. He has also appeared multiple times as a regular guest star in MacGyver as the title characters comical best friend Jack Dalton.

Veronica Cartwright is an actress. Cartwright began her career as a child actor in 1958 with a role in In Love & War. Among her early appearances was a part in the television series Leave it to Beaver & an episode of The Twilight Zone titled I Sing the Body Electric. She appeared in the films, The Childrens Hour & Alfred Hitchcock s The Birds which were both very successful & she was a regular on the television series Daniel Boone from 1964 until 1966, however Cartwrights career slowed down during the 1960s. She continued to work sporadically & achieved two of her biggest successes with Invasion of the Body Snatchers & Alien. Her other film roles include Inserts, Goin South, The Right Stuff, Flight of the Navigator, The Witches of Eastwick, Shoot the Moon, Money Talks & Scary Movie 2. A frequent performer on television, she has played guest roles in such series as The Mod Squad, Miami Vice, Baywatch, ER, The X-Files, Chicago Hope, Will & Grace, Touched by an Angel, Judging Amy & Six Feet Under.
