YuYu Hakusho is a manga in Shonen Jump magazine & an anime series by Yoshihiro Togashi. The anime consists of 112 TV episodes & two movies. Poltergeist Report. In Japan, the series ran in Shueisha s Weekly Shonen Jump. In North America, the manga currently runs in Viz s Shonen Jump. The name of the series is spelled Yu Yu Hakusho in FUNimation s distribution of the anime that airs on Cartoon Network while the seriess name is spelled YuYu Hakusho in Viz manga. Yusuke Urameshi s life takes a rather dramatic turn when he is killed when trying to save a boy from being hit by a car. While floating around as a spirit, Yusuke realizes that people still need him. Eventually, Yusuke gets his life back & discovers a new power, he can see beings from the spirit world. This is when the series really kicks off. He is enlisted as a spirit realm detective, to help control the actions of spirits in the real world. His first assignment is to round up three demon prisoners, Kurama & Hiei who escaped & stole three terribly powerful artifacts. Posters Of Yu Yu Hakusho

Ill make it simple... "buy this". this is a great anime. its got the fighting of dragonball but without the drag-on bit. there isnt much of a plot to speak of but the fighting is top notch. anyone who wants to see a good example of a fighting anime should turn here.
