Average film which promises lots & delivers only some of it. Good acting, decent script but could have been so much more with a better budget. The ending is a little too feel good & typical US TV movie of the week.

Dean Cain is an American actor most well-known for playing Superman in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Dean George Tanaka was born July 31, 1966 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to actress Sharon Thomas & US Army serviceman Roger Tanaka. His parents divorced before he was born, but his mother later married film director Chris Cain & moved to Malibu, California. At Santa Monica High School, it became clear that Cain excelled in sports. When he graduated in 1984, he turned down 17 athletic scholarships to attend Princeton University, where he went on to captain the volleyball team & play free safety on the football team. He was also rumored to have dated actress Brooke Shields who was one year ahead of him at the university. Cain graduated from Princeton in 1988 & immediately signed on as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills, an NFL football team, but a knee injury during training ended his football career before it began. Jennifer Beals is an American actress. Beals is a former teen model who is probably better known for her role as Alex in the 1983 movie Flashdance. Flashdance made Beals a Hollywood star & made her a household name. Her career was affected by scandal shortly after, however, when it was revealed that some of the scenes in that movie where athletics were required were actually performed not by Beals herself, but by doubles. Beals has since starred in a list of lesser-known films & independent projects. She has participated in little more than 50 movies. Beals also stars in Showtime Network s The L Word.
