Frances Fisher is an American actress. She first made a name for herself playing Deborah Saxon on the soap opera The Edge of Night from 1976 to 1981. Before the Laughter, which aired to strong ratings & good reviews in 1991. She has played numerous roles on American television, including parts in the series Strange Luck, Becker & Titus. She also played a key role in the recent television drama The Lyons Den. Her most famous role, however, has been that of Ruth DeWitt Bukater, mother of Rose, in the movie Titanic. Fisher was involved with actor Clint Eastwood & gave birth to their child, Francesca Ruth.
