In Me, Myself & Irene, Jim Carrey plays Charlie Baileygates, a cop for the finest police force in the world . In denial about his wifes affair, hes a nice guy who goes around trying to do the right thing but is taken advantage of every step of the way. Instead of confronting people, he takes the abuse, balls it up & hides it in the pit of his stomach. His psyche can only take so much, though & soon his alter-ego Hank pops out to do every libidinous thing Charlie would never do. Its a great premise for a Jim Carrey film. Unfortunately, its not a great Jim Carrey film. Famous for the lowbrow, shock comedies like Dumb & Dumber, Kingpin & Theres Something About Mary, here the Farrelly brothers get lost in a series of lazy gags & an even lazier plot about some evil golf development & the woman, Irene , who needs to be protected because she knows something about it. Some of the jokes hit , but many more miss. There are some great concepts that dont go anywhere . Its like the movie itself has a split personality, funny ideas trapped in a less-than-funny film.

James Eugene Carrey is a Canadian / American film actor, comedian, writer & producer who was born & grew up in the Toronto suburb of Newmarket, Ontario. Pet Detective, Liar Liar & Bruce Almighty. A native of Canada, Carrey became a US citizen on October 7, 2004. A comedian from an early age, Carrey mailed his resumé to The Carol Burnett Show when he was 10 years old. The teachers in Carreys high school gave him a few minutes at the end of each school day to do a stand-up routine for his classmates. The Carrey family fell on hard times & were forced to move to the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, where they took security & janitorial jobs in the Titan Wheels factory. Carrey began working eight-hour shifts each day after school. Eventually, the Carrey family adjusted by living on a relatives lawn out of the family Volkswagen van until they could move back into town. Carrey dropped out of high school & began to work in comedy clubs & to develop his act, which included impersonations of celebrities such as Michael Landon & James Stewart. Posters Of Jim Carrey

Renee Kathleen Zellweger is an Academy Award -winning movie actress. Renee, the daughter of a Swiss father & a Norwegian mother, graduated from Katy High School in Katy, a suburb of Houston in 1987. She was a cheerleader & gymnast & participated in the drama club. After high school, she went to the University of Texas at Austin to major in English. Though she took a drama class only because she needed a fine arts credit to complete her degree, it reminded her of how much she loved acting. During this time, she supported herself by taking a series of waitressing jobs; at 18 working at Sugars Go-Go Bar in Austin, serving drinks in a tight skirt & tiny top. By the time she graduated from college, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in acting. She immediately began auditioning for commercials & small films that were being shot in Texas, including Reality Bites, 8 Seconds & The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
