Consumer DVD Review [Top] This is very popular with my 3 year old. Eight stories which I was pleased to find are all new model animations & good little tales - The Fogman, No sleep for Cranky, Saltys Secret, Harvey to the Rescue, A Bad Day for Harold the helicopter, Elizabeth the Vintage Lorry, Twin Trouble, Gordon takes a Tumble - & a song Winter Wonderland featuring the engines in the snow.
The select a story menu is on two pages & has pictures to make it easy to choose. Or you can play the whole sequence through if you need to leave the room. The eight stories are numbered - good practice for my son Though for some reason on the second menu you have to use the arrow keys on the key pad rather than numbers 5 to 8 to select the story. But it doesnt matter. Extras are a quiz & character profiles - wordy descriptions for older children. What is especially good about the DVD is that you can choose the story & find it easily. The picture quality is excellent too. Highly recommended. Biography: Michael Angelis [Top]
