Mossad
Background Information: Mossad [Top]
Consumer DVD Review [Top] There is an amazing contrast in this film between the line of Alexs work & the poetic & beautiful love he holds for Thea. Though his love is always at a distance it becomes a very destructive element in Theas life. I can not even begin the describe how much I love this film. It poses an endless number of questions about the world we live in. I really feel that this film never received the recognition it deserved. Mossad contains a huge mix of art & classical music. Alex feels his Minotaur drawing reflects himself & a Luis de Gongora poem about two hearts in one body is his first connection with Thea. The majority of the film is in English however it is noticeable that the classical music & poetry are elements that the director felt were much more important than the scripted words.
