Barry Humphries is an Australian comedian best known for his on-stage & television alter egos Dame Edna Everage, a Melbourne housewife & Sir Les Patterson, Australias foul-mouthed Cultural Attache to Britain. Barry Humphries was born in Melbourne. After education at Melbourne Grammar School & the University of Melbourne he joined the Melbourne Theatre Group & created the character of Edna Everage in 1956. In the early sixties he moved to London & appeared in several West End productions. He first brought Mrs. Everage to the British stage in 1969 for his one-man show Just a Show. Humphries characters, especially Dame Edna, have made him a national figure, with numerous stage & television shows. His Barry McKenzie comic strips about Australians in London appeared in Private Eye magazine with drawings by Nicholas Garland. The stories about Bazza gave wide circulation to Australian slang, particularly toilet humor about drinking & its consequences, much of it invented by Humphries. He is married to Lizzie Spender, the daughter of Sir Stephen Spender & has two sons & two daughters.

Emily Perry is an Australian born actress. Having studied acting, singing & voice, Emily has quite an impressive resume for one so young. She began her career in 1998 as a regular character on Breakers for two years. In 2005, she landed a four-month recurring guest role Home & Away. She has also appeared in All Saints as a guest. It is her work as a freelance television & live host that has seen her develop a large childrens following & strong presenting skills. Emily has hosted the Disney Show for the Disney Channel for cable networks. Her work included covering The Millennium Dreamers Childrens Summit at Walt Disney World, Florida. She also worked on Disney voiceovers during her time with the network. Emily was chosen to act as pre-show host for Carols In The Domain for the Seven Network in her first live to audience role. Over the last summer, Emily hosted Summer Blast for Fox Kids. She returned to Fox to host The Annual Fox Kids Awards. Emily Perry will return to Home & Away to reprise her role as Zoe McAllister on November 25th 2005.
