Im a third-grade teacher, & I regularly watch different movies with my third-grade kids. I watched this movie at home on TV & thought it was great. I found myself glued to the screen!

This movie is NOT just about a kid who has no friends & spends a million dollars. It is really about learning to appreciate REAL friends, & that people who like you for your money arent real friends at all. In addition, the movie is a kids wish-fullfillment fantasy, as a kid manages to spend a million dollars in six days. He learns some important lessons about life, while managing to escape the consequences of his actions through lucky happenstance.

I thought it was a fun movie, & I loved it myself! The movie was great for eight-year-olds, & I know my eleven-year-old daughter would have loved it, too, if she had had the chance to watch it with me.

Karen Duffy is an American model turned actress. Born in New York city she attended Park Ridge High School in New Jersey until she graduated in 1979. She followed this up with bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy from the University of Colorado. By 1989 she was modeling & appearing in television commercials & would become a presenter for MTV in the early 1990s. Since then she has had small roles in a handful of films including Dumb & Dumber & by 1999 she was working as a correspondent for controversial documentary film-maker Michael Moore on his Television shows TV Nation & The Awful Truth. She led a relatively carefree youth in the heydays of her modelling career partying with movie star friends such as George Clooney when in 1995 she was diagnosed with the relatively rare disease sarcoidosis. My Life As an Incurable Wise-Ass. She has explained I tried to write a book not for sick people, but for people with a sick sense of humor & is considered not a typical book about illness. After the diagnosis she continued to model for Revlon & married John Lambros in 1997.
