Dancing At The Blue Iguana
Background Information: Dancing At The Blue Iguana [Top]
Consumer DVD Review [Top] This film tries to cover too many issues & deals with none. The storyline wanders all over the place & shows us nothing. The characters are all damaged in some way, but theres little exploration of why or how - just that they are, & that they fail to find happiness. Some have self-destructive tendencies. Ultimately, though, I cant say I took anything away from this film.
At the end of the final credits, you learn that the film is based on an improvisation. It shows. Not enough work was put into the film post-improv. This may be interesting to watch unfold in a live setting, but not on film. Avoid. Biography: Charlotte Ayanna [Top] Charlotte Ayanna, born Charlotte Lopez is an actress.
