Why Has Bodhi Dharma Left for the East?
Consumer DVD Review [Top] ...it is a journey of contemplation - silence - images of nature & elements...
The reduced dialogue is a reflection upon life. Like a Zen Koan the tale has a different outcome as expected. It tells the story of a Zen master as he could live today, an orphaned boy who by coincidence comes to live with this master & a young novice monk who joins them in the hermetage. Three lives, three views & three inner battles with self recognition & enlightenment. For those interested in meditation - it may be a wonderful insightful story. For those loving Asian pictures it may be a wonderful, gentle evening with the elements of fire, water, eath & wind & will leave you with something to reflect upon.
