Background Information: Blood Money [Top] Blood Money is a scrolling shooter game developed by DMA Design for the Amiga, Commodore 64 & Atari ST. It was released on January 6, 1989 & published by Psygnosis. The game consists of four levels, each being a planet with a unique environment, at the end of which the player ultimately meets a boss. Power-ups such as support missiles & neuron bombs are available for the player to buy at certain equipment stores, provided that the player has collected the coins that drop when shooting an enemy. Enemies in the game range from sea creatures to alien spaceships. The game has received praise for its music, which was made by Ray Norrish. Game review at SHMUPS! with many screenshots.
Biography: Andy Garcia [Top] Andy García is an American actor. He was born Andres Arturo García in Havana, Cuba, into a well-to-do family. He was born a Siamese twin ; his twin was only partially formed, as a tennis ball-sized growth on his shoulder. The twin was successfully removed. When Garcia was 5, the invasion of Cuba by anti- Castro forces failed & the family had to move to Miami, Florida, where they did various types of work in order to survive. Over a period of several years, however, they built up a million-dollar perfume company. García went to high school in Miami, where he played in the basketball team. During his last year in high school, however, he became seriously ill, which made him decide on acting as a future career. Garcia began acting at Florida International University, but went soon after to Hollywood. He started to perform in very short roles & worked as waiter & in a warehouse when he had no job in the film industry. His chance arouse when he was offered a role in the first episode of the popular TV series Hill Street Blues, as a gang member.
