Background Information: Meat Loaf [Top] Meat Loaf is an American actor & rock & roll performer who is best known for his album Bat out of Hell & for his movie performances such as Eddie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Although there have been various explanations for his stage name, according to his official website, his name started when his father called him Meat as a two-year-old. His schoolmates would later turn it into Meat Loaf. His first LP was Meat Loaf & Stoney. He started his career as an actor in musicals such as Hair & came to national attention with a featured role in The Rocky Horror Show. Capitalizing on this notoriety, he performed with the National Lampoon road show & sang on Ted Nugent s album Free For All. In 1977, Meat Loaf released his breakthrough album Bat out of Hell. Biography: Ellen Foley [Top] Ellen Foley is an American singer & actress. Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1951, she has released several albums on her own, but is perhaps best known for her work collaborating with others on such hits as Meat Loaf s Paradise by the Dashboard Light & Joe Jackson s Body & Soul. She has also worked extensively on Broadway. Her best known television acting role is most likely the role of public defender Billie Young on Night Court for two seasons, after which she was replaced by Markie Post.
