How delightful to see the return of wonderful quality drawn animation in the true tradition of the great animated classics: Snow White & even The Snowman. Actually this is the first film to be produced since The Snowman which uses only pictures & narrative music to tell the story. Who needs dialogue when the power of Tchaikovsky & the amazing use of computer FX combined with powerfully drawn characters will pull in an audience from 3 years old to 90. The is family entertainment at its high quality best - an ideal present at Christmas.
