| Tom Jones is lyricist of musical theatre, best known for the longest running musical in history, The Fantasticks, which has been running off-Broadway since 1960. All of Schmidts major musicals were written with Harvey Schmidt whom he met at the University of Texas. |

This was basically one big promotion for Toms new collaberations album - Reload - but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Some of his older stuff is to say the least forgetable, but there are a few gems. Why why why Delighla? etc, etc ... & the others. But perhaps the highlight of the whole video is his two duets he did with Cerys Matthews. Baby Its Cold Outside & Whats new Pussy Cat? two stonking songs that the man with the tight trousers & the lady with the voice thatll turn the legs of any grown person to jelly really make the whole thing worth while.
The video is laced with cheesey, blatenly pre-pened questions from the celebrity audience, but I suppose without them, it wouldnt be an audience with ....
Ive already taped it from the telly but Ill be buying it on video anyway. Recomend for anyone, of any age, youll find something in it that youll like. One thing I will say is, Cerys you could have worn a bra!
