althought not as good as the series with Sarah Michelle Geller it is still quite good. full of comic moments & pull on the heart strings type stuff too, so good all round. The best thing is of course is that it tells the beginning of the whole deal for Buffy, something which, in my opinion, is a bit sketchy in the series so a good watch just for that. But is also quite funny, especially the vamps Watch it as a background to the series, & of course if you are a major fan you have to know how it all started. Watch out for the longest death scene of a vamp ever & the stars in small parts, see if you can get them all!

Biography: Fran Rubel Kuzui
[Top]
Fran Rubel Kuzui is an American movie director & producer. She received her Masters degree from New York University & was a script supervisor for a decade, prior to her first film, 1988s Tokyo Pop, which she co-wrote & directed. The movie received critical acclaim for its depiction of an American woman trying to make sense of the Japanese youth culture. However, she is best known as the director of the light-hearted 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, which was re-imagined in the television series of the same name. She discovered the screenplay of then unknown television writer Joss Whedon & put together the financing to produce the picture. Her vision of the film did not match Whedons & the film received mixed reviews, which noted the uneven direction & comic timing. She, along with her husband Kaz Kuzui founded Kuzui Enterprises, which distributes US films in Japan & imports Japanese films for the US market. In addition to holding a portion of rights to the Buffy character, Kuzui Enterprises also executive produced the TV series & its spin-off Angel. Posters Of Buffy The Vampire Slayer
