The sequel, Predator 2, suffers from the lack of both original star Schwarzenegger & director McTiernan. Danny Glover does serviceable work as the hard-bitten city cop tracking the near-invisible Predator, who this time has chosen to do a bit of hunting on the streets of LA instead of the jungle. Look out for an Alien skull in the creatures trophy room
Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is an Austrian - American bodybuilder, Golden Globe nominated actor & Republican politician, currently serving as the 38th Governor of California. He was elected on October 7, 2003 in a special recall election which removed the sitting governor, Gray Davis, from office. Schwarzenegger was sworn in on November 17, 2003, to serve the remainder of Davis term, which lasts until January 8, 2007. On September 16th, 2005 he officially announced that he will seek re-election to a full term in Californias 2006 gubernatorial election. Nicknamed The Austrian Oak in his body-building days & more recently The Governator, Schwarzenegger as a young man gained widespread attention as a highly successful bodybuilder & later gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film star. Some of his most famous films include The Terminator, Predator, True Lies, Kindergarten Cop, Total Recall & his Hollywood breakthrough film Conan the Barbarian.

Bill Duke is an American actor & director. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, Duke received his first instruction in the performing arts at Boston University. After also studying at New York University s Tisch School of Arts & the American Film Institute, Duke began his career behind the camera, directing episodes of several noteworthy 1980s television series, including Hill Street Blues & Miami Vice. Standing an imposing 64 & featuring a closely shaved head, Duke became a familiar face to moviegoers after portraying tough guys alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando & Predator, as well as the memorable police chief in Carl Weathers action vehicle Action Jackson. Returning to the directors chair, Duke began directing feature-length films in the 1990s with crime dramas A Rage in Harlem & Deep Cover. He also directed The Cemetary Club & the well-received Sister Act 2, starring Whoopi Goldberg. Duke continues to act & direct for both the small & silver screens. He is also a mentor for young African-Americans aspiring for the performance arts.

Most action cinema fans agree that the directors best works career-wise have been 1987 s Predator, 1988 s Die Hard & 1990 s The Hunt for Red October. The director is currently working on the fourth Die Hard installment, with Bruce Willis back in tow, expected to be released sometime in 2006.
