Just A Kiss
Background Information: Just A Kiss [Top]
Editorial DVD Review [Top] A romantic comedy with an absurdist edge, Just a Kiss begins when Dag , a commercial director, sleeps with his best friends girlfriend, Rebecca , a dancer, while shes touring in Europe. When their infidelity is revealed back home in New York City it sets off a cascade of people falling into bed together, including Dags girlfriend Halley , Rebeccas other lover Andre & a waitress at a bowling alley with strange obsessions & loose morals. Just a Kiss slips to & fro in time & veers in & out of rotoscope animation, but even the live sequences have a cartoonish edge; its hard to care about what happens to these caricatures, no matter how tight their pants or how skimpy their tank tops. Also featuring Patrick Breen & Sarita Choudhury.
