Unknown Nathan Purdee steps into Ron O'Neils shoes in the role of Priest in this 3rd sequel of Superfly. In the film he goes back to the U.S. after living in Paris for a while & the police try to set him up as an informer on the major drug players. Once they get wind that he is back & that he may be working for the police they want him killed. It's a great action thriller that brings everything up to date on what is happening on the streets or in the 'hood'. Nathan Purdee is great in the role as the suave Priest, as for Samuel L Jackson he only appeared in 3 scenes in the movie playing an old associate of Priest & he was credited as Sam Jackson then. Overall the film is excellent, a good Return for Superfly

Biography: Nathan Purdee
[Top]
| Nathan Purdee is an American soap opera actor. He first rose to prominence as Nathan Hastings on The Young & the Restless, a role he played from 1985 to 1992. His involvement on Y&R paved the way for more African American additions to the cast. He left Y&R in 1992 to start the role of District Attorney Hank Gannon on One Life to Live, a role he would play in both contract & recurring capacities until 2003.
